What is the difference between the HydraFacial and a regular facial?

Traditional facials are often more painful, especially the extractions part of the procedure.

With HydraFacials, the vortex-extraction tool that is used to unclog your pores, minimises any pain or discomfort.

Additionally, a regular facial leaves your skin red and irritated, and requires you to be extra careful for the next few days.

After a HydraFacial your skin is smooth and irritation-free. You don’t have to make any changes to your skincare routine and your skin is makeup-ready from the next day onwards.

Is the HydraFacial for everybody?

The HydraFacial is for all ages and skin types, from teenagers with acne-prone oily skin to those with more mature skin battling fine lines and pigmentation issues. The only exceptions are those with skin conditions such as rosacea or severe inflammatory acne. If one is breastfeeding or pregnant, aesthetic treatments in general are discouraged.

What to expect after a HydraFacial?

Brighter, smoother and more toned skin is often the end result of a HydraFacial. If you have customised your treatment for a specific issue, such as acne, you will see it subside. If there is a slight redness to your skin after the treatment, do not worry as it will not impede on your normal routine and will be gone within the same day.
